A native of India was in a Texas court Monday after being caught carrying jihadist literature at George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, my FOXhouston.com reported. Vijay Kumar, 40, was arrested Friday after airport security officials searched his luggage when they noticed him behaving strangely.

Creative Writing Graduate Wins Keene Award for Literature

Nora Boxer, a graduate of the Creative Writing Program in the English Department at The University of Texas at Austin, has won the $50,000 Keene Prize for Literature for her story “It’s the song of the nomads, baby; or, Pioneer.” The Keene Prize is one of the world’s largest student literary prizes.
